As part of National Writing Day, we’re delighted to share extracts from the creative writing portfolios of this year’s Rathbones Folio Mentees.
We are thrilled to announce that the winner of the Rathbones Folio Prize 2019 is Raymond Antrobus, for his debut full length poetry collection ‘The Perseverance’
The following eight books are shortlist for the Rathbones Folio Prize 2019, judged by Kate Clanchy, Chloe Aridjis and Owen Sheers.
Rathbones Folio Prize and Rathbones Investment Management have announced a significant expansion of their partnership, which secures the future of the Rathbones Folio Prize, Mentorships and Sessions until at least 2023, and allows an increase in prize money to £30,000.

On 8 May 2018, the Rathbones Folio Prize was awarded to Richard Lloyd Parry, for his Ghosts of the Tsunami, at a ceremony held at the British Library. The ceremony welcomed over 350+ guests, and the winner was announced by chair of judges, Jim Crace.
